The SEPTALINE Round Excavation Bur is a round tungsten carbide bur mounted on an RA (Right Angle) shank, designed for use at low speed with a contra-angle handpiece. It is the reference instrument for caries excavation: it removes decayed, softened dentin during cavity preparation prior to restoration. Its round shape follows the natural anatomical contours of the tooth and the carious lesion, allowing selective removal of decayed tissue through a scooping motion while best preserving the surrounding sound tooth structure. Reference RA, tungsten carbide material. Sold in a box of 5 units.
