This POLYDENTIA abrasive strip comes as a continuous 10-metre roll, 4mm wide, made of flexible polyester coated with aluminum oxide particles. The practitioner cuts the length needed for each use, reducing waste compared with individually pre-cut strips. Three grits are available under this listing: the 5502, coarse grit (60µm), for initial roughing and removing composite excess at the contact point; the 5501, medium grit (40µm), for refining the shape obtained; and the 5511, fine grit (30µm), for final polishing of the interdental surfaces. Its flexibility allows it to be easily inserted into the interproximal space without damaging soft tissue or adjacent teeth, for precise finishing of both posterior and anterior composite restorations.
