The ACTEON Implant Protect Tip IP2L features a pure titanium tip, angled to the left, allowing targeted access to specific implant surfaces depending on the quadrant treated (unlike the IP1, which has a straight, universal tip). The titanium avoids any risk of scratching the implant surface during debridement. It is used as part of peri-implantitis treatment, for precise cleaning of the implant abutment and threads, complementing the IP2R for full coverage around the implant.
