The Starjet Basic Set air-polishing unit from MECTRON provides effective supragingival prophylaxis, removing dental plaque and stains. The kit includes the Starjet handpiece fitted with an interchangeable 120° nozzle (secure locking system), along with 2 bottles of 160g sensitive+ glycine powder, with fine particles (under 25µm) known to be less abrasive than classic sodium bicarbonate. The device connects directly to the dental chair's turbine line (compatible with Bien Air, KaVo, Sirona, W&H, NSK, Midwest, Borden connections), with adjustable water pressure from 0 to 3.0 bar and air pressure from 2.0 to 3.0 bar. Its translucent, side-loading powder chamber makes refilling and level checks easy. Class IIa medical device, CE marked, made in Italy. 1-year warranty.
