The DENTOCLIC conical wedge is a calibrated piece used during the impression stage, alongside the conical post. The stainless-steel version (Ø1.8mm, 23.25mm length) is used chairside by the practitioner to preserve space for the cementing agent; the burn-out version (Ø1.75mm, 23mm length, slightly thinner to compensate for volumetric changes in the material) is used by the laboratory technician when casting the post-and-core. Sold in a refill of 10 units for stainless steel and 20 units for burn-out.
