GARRISON's BlueView Varistrip matrices are cut from a thin sheet of blue-tinted Mylar, a shade chosen to provide clear contrast between the matrix and tooth structure during the procedure, without interfering with composite polymerization. Their curved, tapered shape, gradually running from 5 to 10mm in height across the full 62mm length of the strip, lets the practitioner slide it interproximally until the exact height matching the tooth being restored is found, avoiding the flat embrasures often produced by a standard straight strip. A single reference therefore covers a wide range of anterior clinical situations, without the need to stock multiple sizes. Sold in a box of 100 units, they are suited to Class III and Class IV aesthetic restorations on incisors and canines.
