GARRISON's Slick Bands XR stand out with a wider sub-gingival extension than the standard range, designed for cavities where the cervical margin extends deep below the gumline: this extra height makes it easier to adapt the matrix to these hard-to-reach margins and reduces the risk of excess or insufficient material at the cervical level. Made from dead-soft stainless steel, they easily conform to the tooth contour without resisting placement. Like the rest of the Slick Bands range, they benefit from a PTFE coating that makes them much easier to remove once the composite has cured, without catching or pulling off material. Sold in a box of 60 or 100 units depending on the size chosen, they complement GARRISON's sectional matrix systems for posterior restorations with a deep cervical margin.
