Piezosurgery Touch - MECTRON

Unlike a bur or a conventional rotary instrument, whose macro-vibrations cut all tissue indiscriminately, the Mectron Piezosurgery Touch uses modulated piezoelectric ultrasonic micro-vibrations, combined with a cavitation effect from the irrigation, for selective bone cutting that spares nerves, vessels and membranes. The touchscreen lets the surgeon select bone quality and irrigation flow with one touch, while the external irrigation system uses standard consumables and a reusable peristaltic-pump tube. The rotating, sterilizable LED handpiece lights the surgical site directly. The unit is indicated for a wide range of bone surgery procedures: sinus lift, implant site preparation, extractions, ridge expansion, bone grafting, endodontic and periodontal surgery.
