The Woodpecker US1 tip, made of titanium, is designed for high-efficiency osteotomy of large bone sections in maxillofacial surgery. It corresponds to the Mectron OT6 insert.
It can also be used for exodontia, in extractions requiring bone sectioning.
It is used in "Bone" mode, at a power setting of 1 to 3, with suitable irrigation. Compatible with Mectron, Woodpecker and EMS generators, as well as Surgery-X, Surgic Touch and Mectron motors, it fits easily into an existing setup. Reusable, it is autoclavable at 135°C.
