Designed for periodontal surgery, the Mectron PP11 tip belongs to the periodontal tip line of the Piezosurgery/Piezodrill system. Its titanium nitride coating provides surface hardness and wear resistance, both valuable for repeated use in practice.
This tip targets two specific clinical steps: gently removing calculus deposits located beneath the gum, and finely smoothing the root surface once the calculus has been removed. The right-side angulation of the PP11 (it forms a mirrored pair with the left-angled PP12) allows the technique to be adapted to periodontal anatomy depending on which side of the mouth is being treated.
Compatible with Mectron Piezosurgery touch, Piezosurgery GP and MT-BONE units.
