The Mectron OP5A osteoplasty tip (manufacturer reference 03380012) shares the root debridement function of the OP5, with a coarser 90µm diamond grit.
This coarser grit makes it a faster tip for debridement and planing of roots during periodontal resection and regeneration surgery, complementing the OP5 (30µm) for finer finishing.
Its surface is coated with titanium nitride.
