This OT13 tip from Mectron, designed for Piezosurgery, enables minimally invasive preparation in osteotomy and osteoplasty procedures carried out during periodontal bone resection surgery.
It combines both cutting functions in a single tip, with a micrometric osteotomy or osteoplasty cutting mode, on a 150 μm diamond coating and a 1.8mm working diameter, the narrower of the pair, suited to tighter sites.
Like other Piezosurgery tips, it retains good cutting selectivity while limiting tissue trauma.
