Shaped like an angled curette, the PS6 reproduces the geometry of a manual scaling instrument, while benefiting from the precision and gentle cutting action of Piezosurgery technology. It performs gentle root scaling, including the removal of small root fragments, with micrometric movements that protect the surrounding soft tissue. The cavitation effect generated by the ultrasound also helps limit bleeding and improve visibility of the surgical field. Made of surgical steel with a titanium nitride coating, the PS6 tip is compatible with all Mectron Piezosurgery handpieces and is reusable after sterilisation, like the brand's other surgical tips.
