The EXP3-L tip is designed for explantation procedures, i.e. the removal of failed or malpositioned osseointegrated dental implants. Its peri-implant osteotomy action cuts through the bone-implant interface while preserving as much of the surrounding bone as possible, offering a less invasive alternative to conventional surgical techniques. It is the left-angled version of the EXP3 range, complementing the EXP3-R tip, allowing the access angle to be adapted according to the anatomical configuration of the site being treated. Its titanium nitride coating improves wear resistance during repeated contact with bone. Designed for Mectron Piezosurgery handpieces, it is reusable after sterilisation, like the brand's other surgical tips.
