The EXP4-R tip is designed for explantation procedures, i.e. the removal of failed or malpositioned osseointegrated dental implants. Its curved tip, combined with its peri-implant osteotomy action, cuts through the bone-implant interface while adapting to anatomical configurations different from those accessible with the EXP3 range. With its right-angled design, it facilitates access to implant sites depending on the case being treated. Its titanium nitride coating improves wear resistance during repeated contact with bone. Designed for Mectron Piezosurgery handpieces, it is reusable after sterilisation, like the brand's other surgical tips.
