The ET18D tip from ACTEON features a heavy-grit diamond coating, with an 18 mm working length, designed for finishing and flaring the access cavity at the start of endodontic treatment. It removes dentinal shelves and remaining restoration material, while effectively clearing the pulp chamber walls to facilitate visualization of canal entrances.
Thanks to its pronounced diamond grit, it provides effective cutting action on hard tissue, delivering a clean preparation before proceeding with the subsequent retreatment steps. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator.
