The Woodpecker DTE HD-8L handpiece is a detachable ultrasonic scaler body with a built-in LED to light up the operating field. It is compatible with the Satelec/Acteon connector, and can be used notably on Woodpecker DTE S6 LED and D600 LED generators.
Piezoelectric type, it is autoclavable at 135°C (0.22 MPa), for full disinfection between patients. It succeeds the HD-7L version, which has no built-in light.
