The ME1 tip is designed for atraumatic tooth luxation during dental extractions. Its double-edged blade, only 0.35 mm thick, cuts through the periodontal ligament with precision while preserving as much of the alveolar bone and surrounding tissue as possible, for a less invasive extraction than conventional techniques. Its titanium nitride coating improves wear resistance. It belongs to Mectron's Ultrasound range and operates exclusively in pulse mode on Multipiezo / Multipiezo Pro devices. Reusable after sterilisation, like the brand's other tips.
