The ME2 tip is designed for atraumatic tooth luxation during dental extractions. Its double-edged, left-angled blade, only 0.35 mm thick, cuts through the periodontal ligament with precision while preserving as much of the alveolar bone and surrounding tissue as possible. It is the left-angled version of the ME range, complementing the ME1 (straight) and ME3 (right-angled) tips, allowing access to be adapted according to the position of the tooth being extracted. Its titanium nitride coating improves wear resistance. It belongs to Mectron's Ultrasound range and operates exclusively in pulse mode on Multipiezo / Multipiezo Pro devices. Reusable after sterilisation, like the brand's other tips.
