The Woodpecker E88 tip (KATANA-V), made of chrome steel, is part of the TFRK (Terauchi File Removal Kit) broken-file-removal range, co-designed with Dr. Yoshi Terauchi, alongside the E87 and E89. Its extremely fine, tapered tip (0.1mm), sword-shaped and vertically oriented (forward/backward), creates a semi-circular groove on the canal's inner wall to release the fractured file.
Pre-bendable before use, it is compatible with Woodpecker and EMS generators and is used alongside the straight (E87) and horizontal (E89) variants of the same range depending on the required approach angulation.
