The Endo Success CAP3 tip from ACTEON is the finest and most pointed of the CAP (Canal Access Prep) series, with an 8 mm working length and 6% taper. Its tapered micro-blade is designed to fragment pulp stones and calcifications obstructing the pulp chamber or canal entrance, as well as to locate hard-to-reach calcified canals, including accessory canals. Its design offers strong fracture resistance with a limited wear rate.
The CAP3 comes in as the final step of the Endo Success sequence: after the CAP1 (finishing and polishing of pulp chamber walls, removing dentinal debris and provisional cement), and the CAP2 (pulp chamber preparation, locating hidden canals such as MV2), the CAP3 tackles the most calcified areas where other tips cannot progress. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator, as part of endodontic treatment.
