The ETBD tip from ACTEON is characterized by its miniature diamond ball, designed for locating calcified or obstructed canals as well as exploring the pulp chamber floor. Its spherical shape allows methodical scanning of areas likely to conceal sclerosed canal entrances, particularly in complex retreatment cases where the original anatomy has been altered by previous treatment attempts.
Thanks to its precise diamond action, it facilitates locating canal orifices before proceeding with the subsequent steps of endodontic retreatment. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator.
