The Endo Success CAP2 tip from ACTEON occupies the middle position of the CAP (Canal Access Prep) series, with a 9 mm working length and 5% taper. It is specifically designed for pulp chamber preparation: it clears dentinal shelves that obscure canal orifices and helps locate hidden canals, particularly the MV2 canal often difficult to find in maxillary molars.
The CAP2 comes in after the CAP1 (finishing and polishing of pulp chamber walls, removing debris and provisional cement), and before the CAP3 (the finest of the series, dedicated to fragmenting calcifications in the most obstructed canals). Its micro-blade design offers good fracture resistance with a limited wear rate. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator, as part of endodontic treatment.
