The ET40 tip from ACTEON is a smooth (non-diamond) tip, 40 mm in length with a 4% taper. It is intended for canal probing and mechanical removal of broken or separated instrument fragments, in the middle third of wide, straight canals.
Its action relies on vibration and direct mechanical contact, allowing gentle mobilization and dislodging of the fragment without resorting to diamond abrasion. Its long working length gives it extended reach, useful for retreatments requiring deep canal access. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator.
