The ET40D tip from ACTEON features a diamond coating (30 µm grit), and an exceptional length of 40 mm, with a 4% taper. Its long working length allows it to work effectively in the middle third of wide, straight canals, particularly for the rapid removal of broken or separated instrument fragments within the canal.
Its diamond action ensures precise removal of surrounding hard materials, clearing the access needed to grasp and extract the fragment without risk of pushing it further down the canal. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator, as part of endodontic retreatment protocols.
