With its semi-circular cross-section, this S1 universal curette from Mectron differs from the triangular-section S1-S model and is instead aimed at clearing heavier calculus deposits: it is built for the removal of large amounts of calculus, whereas the S1-S targets finer supra- and subgingival areas.
Its medical-grade stainless steel coating provides good wear resistance under intensive use.
It is used on a compatible Mectron ultrasonic system and comes with its K10 torque wrench for fitting onto the handpiece.
