The Mectron Endo Revision Tip ER2 (manufacturer reference 03450002) is an angled ultrasonic insert with a fine Ø 0.7mm tip, diamond-coated (D30 grit) over the last 5mm of a 10mm active length.
It is designed for locating concealed or calcified canal entrances, and for removing restoration materials, calcifications and fractured instrument fragments in the coronal third of the canal.
Its surface is coated with titanium nitride. It forms a pair with the larger ER1, designed for exposing root posts.
Endo Revision Tip ER4, fine tip Ø 0.6mm diamond-coated (D30, 5mm active), 20mm working length. Locating and removing fragments in the coronal third.
Endo Revision Tip ER5, angled Ø 0.5mm, working length up to 24mm. Removal of fractured inserts in the middle and apical thirds.
