The Mectron Endo Revision Tip ER3 (manufacturer reference 03450003) is an angled ultrasonic insert with a very fine Ø 0.6mm tip, diamond-coated (D30 grit) over the last 5mm of a 10mm active length.
It is designed for locating calcified canal entrances and for removing root fragments and fractured instruments in the coronal third of the canal.
Its surface is coated with titanium nitride. It completes the ER1 (Ø 1.7mm, exposing root posts) and ER2 (Ø 0.7mm, locating/debris removal) pair with the finest diameter in the series, dedicated to fractured instrument removal.
