This OT5 tip from Mectron, designed for Piezosurgery, is used to finish an osteotomy or osteoplasty atraumatically, notably on thin bone or near delicate anatomical structures.
It differs from its OT5B counterpart with a 1.9mm diameter and a 91 μm diamond grit, finer than the OT5B's 126 μm.
This combination gives it a particularly precise cut for refining the surgical gesture at the final stage of the procedure.
