At 15 mm long, the IM2P-15 is the extended version of the IM2P tip, designed for implant site preparations requiring deeper access, for example on thicker bone sites or with longer implants. Like the IM2P, it performs the pilot osteotomy, the first step in implant drilling, particularly in the posterior regions of the maxilla. Its 2 mm diameter is identical to that of the standard version; only the active length changes. Made for Mectron Piezosurgery handpieces, it features a titanium nitride coating that increases wear resistance. Like the brand's other surgical tips, it is reusable after sterilisation.
