The ACTEON Excavus Tip 5AE is designed for decementing crowns, bridges and prosthetic restorations. It is applied with firm, successive contacts, with vibration started at the sulcular margin of the crown and progressively worked toward the coronal portion, with a more sustained application once the cement layer is partially broken down. It belongs to the Excavus tip family, distinct from the numbered scaling tip range, and specifically dedicated to prosthesis removal procedures.
