The PerfectMargin PM4 tip from ACTEON stands apart from the other PM tips through its diamond-coated conical shape (46 µm grit), specifically designed for corono-radicular preparation. It smooths the entry cone of anatomical root posts and refines the bevel of the intrasulcular cervical margin, while respecting the biological space and marginal gingiva, for a precise fit and reliable impressions.
Unlike the PM1 (first step of intrasulcular preparation, 76 µm grit, rounded edge), the PM2 (finishing step, 46 µm grit, rounded edge), and the PM3 (smooth version for final polishing), the PM4 serves a distinct role centered on the corono-radicular junction rather than the coronal cervical margin alone. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator, as part of prosthetic preparation protocols.
