The ETPR tip from ACTEON, made of non-diamond steel, holds a distinct place within the Endo Success range: unlike the ET18D, ET20D, or ET25 tips, dedicated to canal retreatment (removing gutta-percha and filling materials), the ETPR is specifically designed for loosening posts and crowns still cemented in place.
Placed in direct contact with the prosthetic element, it is used at maximum power with abundant irrigation, generating vibrations that progressively break the cement seal without resorting to traditional mechanical removal, which is often more traumatic to the remaining tooth structure. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator, as part of prosthetic removal and endodontic retreatment protocols.
