The ASLD tip from ACTEON is a diamond-coated tip (30 µm grit), with a 3 mm length and 10% taper, dedicated to apical surgery. Its left orientation (retro-tip), allows retrograde preparation of the canal cavity at the level of the resected apex, adapting to the access angulation required depending on the position of the treated tooth.
Its compact shape and cutting precision achieve a clean, well-centered retrograde cavity along the canal axis, an essential condition for the seal of the subsequent retrograde filling. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator, as part of endodontic surgery protocols.
