The Mectron SLE1 elevation tip (manufacturer reference 03390007) is a sinus membrane elevator, designed to cut Sharpey's fibers of the endosteum.
It allows elevation of the sinus floor membrane, and is used to start the detachment from the floor.
Its surface is coated with titanium nitride. It forms a pair with the SLE2, used to continue elevation from the palatal sinus wall.
