The EN6R continues the work of the EN5R in the same retrograde endodontic surgery sequence: both inserts share the same right angulation, but where the diamond-grit EN5R prepares the apical cavity, the EN6R then performs a finer debridement, with a smooth, polishing surface that avoids further marking the cavity walls. Its right-angled shape provides access to the retro-apical area according to the orientation required by the position of the tooth being treated. The active tip, 2.2 mm in diameter, matches that of the EN5R used earlier in the sequence. Like all Piezosurgery inserts, the EN6R features a titanium nitride coating and is used with Mectron's retro surgical kit. It is reusable after sterilisation, just like the brand's other surgical tips.
