Data sheet
In Mectron's implant drilling sequence, the IM3P takes over from the IM2.8P: with a 3 mm diameter, it is generally the final widening step before implant placement, on the largest bone sites. Like the other preparation tips in this range, it includes a double irrigation system that dissipates the heat generated by drilling and limits the risk of bone necrosis, particularly in the posterior regions of the maxilla. Made for Mectron Piezosurgery handpieces, it features a titanium nitride coating that increases wear resistance, and is reusable after sterilisation like the brand's other surgical tips.
