The PerfectMargin PMV2 tip from ACTEON is part of the Perfect Margin Veneers kit, specifically designed for ceramic veneer preparation. Its diamond-coated external spoon shape (107 µm grit), is intended for gingival margin finishing, following soft-tissue retraction, with the tip held perpendicular to the prepared surface for a clean, precise margin line.
It occupies position 2 in the PMV kit, alongside the PMV1 (diamond ball, vestibular reduction/incisal edge), and the PMV3 (diamond internal spoon, incisal/interproximal margin). Each of these preparation tips has a matching smooth polishing counterpart (PMV4, PMV5, PMV6), for final finishing. The PMV2 also differs from ACTEON's PM and PMS ranges, which are dedicated to full-crown margin preparation rather than veneers. Used with an ACTEON-compatible ultrasonic generator.
