At 15 mm long, the IM3P-15 is the extended version of the IM3P tip, for implant site preparations requiring deeper access, for example on thicker bone sites. Like the IM3P, it is used at the end of the drilling sequence to widen or finalise the site preparation, using its double irrigation system that limits the risk of bone overheating in the posterior regions of the maxilla. Made for Mectron Piezosurgery handpieces, it features a titanium nitride coating and is reusable after sterilisation, like the brand's other surgical tips.
